Being a very versatile musician, Jacob can adapt to classical as well as more popular repertoire.  His performances of virtuosic pieces such as Pierne’s Impromptu Caprice and Rota’s Sarabanda and Toccata have been described as “admirable” while his execution of the more lyrical repertoire such as Hovhaness’ Nocturne is “captivating”.  Other more popular repertoire finds a uniquely delightful interpretation under Jacob’s fingers, where his admirable improvisation skills come to the fore.

Having ample experience performing in an ensemble setting, Jacob’s playing easily blends with any other instrument or voice, and he is well known for his musical support to his ensemble colleagues, making him a sought-after musical partner.
